What does the “e” stand for on the SD70ACe, and why is it lowercased?[:)]

I believe that the e means that the unit is EPA certified to the latest Tier 2 standards.

The lowercase e is for enhanced - 4300hp vs 4000 hp and Tier 2 compliance.
