What did you use for a motor to lift the layout?

To raise the layout I used an electric wench or block and tackle from an old machine shop. The one I used was 120 volt and rated for 300 pounds. It was used to lift small pieces of steal to the band saw in the machine shop. I could have used a 12 volt truck wench found at many 4x4 shops as well. The rails where from home depot, for hang sliding doors on.

I see how he raises the table to turn the eng round on the one end, but does he use on the othe end. that would be inresting too.
