Well i’ve gone this far!!
Will try out the molly do-hicky when it snows again. Works great with out chute. Any idea’s Color / windows / doors etc. Thanks Sean
Hi Sean,
I think that the “MOLLY BLADE” will improve the operation but you may want to adjust or bend the sides on each wing to improve the flow of snow into the blower. Regarding the color, doors and windows, I think it should match the B & M Caboose wedge plow so it will be part of your FLEET of snow removal equipment.

Same here the B&M colors would work. i think it’s going to tear up the snow.
have fun Austin
Sean, I think you need more screw’s on the intake. It seems to look like there’s room for at least 2 dozen more beside’s they will add some weight. Just kidding look’en good.
Dave
The white plastic is 1/4" thick. Glue not to strong, so screw it!! I’m thinking of painting it Black with the B&M logo in white. At some point I’ll be painting my crane / tender the same. The molly should brake the snow up ! When it snowes we’ll see.
Sean I know you model the B&M but the profile of your plow sure looks like an SP rotory. For the record after convertion from steam they use(d) a trailing EMD FB unit to power the rotory; both were black with white lettering and handrails. In practice, on Donner, a rotory train usually had a rotory on each end (In case they got stuck) seperated by several big SD units.
Looks good, Rob
I’m bad. So you saw that pic to. It seemed the easyest to build with what I had to work with. Well after running it outside tonight, and after seeing the plow & leaf blower !!
