Good Morning,
I am searching for those that are HO Model Railroaders in the Melbourne, FL area with active layouts and particularly DCC. I would certainly appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks!
John

I am Club Historian & Photographer of the South Brevard Model R.R. Club, based out of Palm Bay,FL.
We have a modular layout that we just set up for the very 1st time at the March Shriner’s show on Eau Gallie Blvd. We’re looking for a building to set up our club in, but for right now it’s a ‘‘round-robbin’’ set-up.
If you’re interested, let me know.
(Monthly dues are $20, thought checking us out is free.)
John, there is a club in Cocoa and one in Titusville, both of which I belong to. Both now use NCE DCC, largely because I pushed it, but can be partially or completely switched to DC for compatibility or new member use. The Cocoa club is the Space Coast Model Train Club. It has about 12 members and a J-shaped HO layout about 40 feet long, with an additional 15 feet of staging in the rear room. The trackwork is good, and sports 36 inch min radius and live frogs. There is also an N gauge layout about 24 feet long with DC only. Meetings are Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening. Contact David Klein, president, at 783-5469. The Titusville club is the Titusville Area Model RailRoad Club, with about 25 members. It has an HO layout about 20.5 feet square which I have been upgrading for the last 15 months. It has min radii of 28 inches and live frogs. I am finishing a good-size yard for it this month. This club also has a large three-rail O gauge and a smaller N gauge layout. Meetings are Monday evening. Contact Bill Gillespie, president, at 269-0723. Directions can be furnished upon request. Hal Greenlee 636-3393
Hi, I’m also in Palm Bay. I didn’t know there was anything going on in this area. My work schedule is insane, but I’d certainly welcome knowing more about your group.
Thanks!

Hello,
I just moved to the Melbourne area a few weeks ago. I have a small operational layout (12’ x 9’-6") using Digitrax. If you are interested in operating using a modified card system, my email address is capt_aquarius@yahoo.com.

I generally live in Palm Bay and would like to join your club. I am in Wyoming right now, but should be back in early June.
It mihgt be further than you want to drive, but the Treasure Coast Model Railroad Club in Port St. Lucie has a nice layout, and it’s certainly worth a visit.
