Is there a search functiuon here to look up topics? If so, how does it work?
To the right of these post, scroll down until you read search our community. It should be about 3 or 4 ads down
ratled
There are two search bars in the right hand column. Use the lower one, “Search Our Community” and type in your key word. If you are referring to a way to search “Tags” as mentioned at the end of a post, I don’t know of any specific way, other than going to “select tags” and using those words in the search box. I would think there would be some place you could select the tag you wanted. Maybe someone else will see this and let us know.
Good luck,
Thanks, I was looing for the search funciton for the forum. Got it now. I suppose we often can’t see the entire screen on a website at a give time and foget to scroll down. Perhaps the programmers should think about that.
Live and learn.

Learn by accident.
I was just going over the threads and when I clicked to move down the page a list of forum topics appeared. When I investigated, I found that if you scroll down the right side of this page you will find a box “POPULAR TAGS” a little below the community search box. Have never used it obviously, but I would say if you go there and experiment a little you should be able to search by tags.
Good luck,
The programmers did think about what they’re doing. The placement of the search box was no accident, we have to see who pays the bills here. The site might not be too user friendly and most of us will think it’s a bad design, but looking at it from a business perspective, the site is indeed well thought out.
Useful tricks for searching:
- If using multiple-word tags, enclose the words with quotation marks (“”).
- Use the side arrow to narrow or widen the search field.
- If you know that something probably appeared in one specific forum, select that forum.
- Note that the search block might only return YOUR posts, unless you spread it out.
That last, especially, will get you if you decide to search while following one specific thread.
Happy searching.
