Seaside Roundhouse

I found these remains of an old seaside roundhouse in San Pedro, CA. This must have been the originally part of the Port of Los Angeles.

Thanks Eric; these are great!
I went searching around that area several weeks ago, just to see “what’s down there” as far as active track goes. There’s not a whole lot left in the immediate area, just some abandoned spurs. This turntable is somewhat near the southern terminal of the restored red car line.

Was this a sattelite generated photo? How did you get it? Curious.

It looks like I need to check this forum more often. Just go to http://terraserver.microsoft.com/. Another site I like is http://maps.google.com/.
