Well with HS 2 & 3 proposed as well but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it, the latest Crossrail was first proposed 25 years ago and is still not completed yet,but it’s election year in 2015 so maybe this will not be the only proposal to surface
Yet more massive transport investment for London and the South East. Meanwhile rail users in the north of England have to put up with sparse services provided by crowded, elderly trains with painfully slow schedules.
