The idea about autoracks being “secret Nazi prison cars” seems hard for anyone to believe. However… the *** DID have whole systems of prison trains running on their rails in the early 1940s.

Wow, that’s quite something. Obviously they are carrying more “detainees” than can fit in a normal length train of white boxcars with shackles! There must be hundreds of thousands in the camps, isn’t it strange that nobody noticed. I didn’t quite get the “Nazi” connection. There were references to the Bush Administration, but last I heard they were with the Republican party, not the American Nazi Party (if it still exists).
The camps are located at places only accessible by train? In isolated river gorges, or in long rail tunnels? Where else can you only go by train? But still, if you can afford custom built three deck prison cars, I guess you can excavate underground prison camps. You could use the inmates to mine for useful minerals or just enlarge the camps.
We had some real prison cars in Australia. They were wooden cars about 50 feet long, and had a single central entrance door on each side of the car which opened into a warder’s compartment which had seats (and an enlosed toilet compartment). Either side of this were two compartments along each side enclosed by bars (naturally) with wooden longitudinal bench seats (a bit like subway car seats apart from the bars.) There was a central corridor between the sets of bars, to allow the warders to walk down an inspect the prisoners. In each corner of the car there was a partially enclosed toilet for the use of the prisoners in each of the four compartments.
These cars were still sitting around in the 1960s, but were last used in the early 1950s. Two have been preserved.

I remember, my grandmother used to tell me a few stories from WW2.
She said the trains full of people used to pass through her willage, they were crowded, people could barely breathe, and when the train stoped for a minute, people from the willage rushed to bring watter to these people. They were being transported like cattle, so the cars did have openings. It was a terrible sight, those people were there for an entire day, the didn’t have toilet and were not let out until the train got the camps, so obviously they have to settle for a smelly alternative. The people from the willage gave them as much watter as they could before the train went on.

I noticed that he has “white%20boxcars” in the image locations. The dufus does not even recognized double stacked JB Hunt containers. That looks like it could be the BNSF line between Mojave and Barstow, which would put it next to Edwards AFB. I wonder if the whack-job that has been missing from here for a while /(and hopfully permenantly) is on this other forum.
And the numbers on these “boxcars” tell where they are to be routed? Does this mean that the number has to be repainted whenever these cars are loaded, and again when they are unloaded?This guy obviously knows absolutely NOTHING about railroads[:(!]!
Because Hitler had become a synonime for Satan. People always mention his name as a symbol of evil. People always have to have simbols, that’s how they are. Hitler is a vent where people channel all their disguist toward evil. A simbol.
In reality there were many more people like Hitler, and many more even worse in history. Not to mention the countless people who agreed with hitler and actually did his dirty work.
Every action of conquering other people’s land is a crime, is stealing and is murdering. Yet some are heroes for such things as Napoleon or roman emperors, and others are devils like Hitler.
But they are all coqerors, stealing land from other people and murdering those who try protect what is their own. Propaganda made Hitler something special. But in every war there are people like him.

Also because Stalin didnt invade Europe triggering a massive world war. The internal events of the Stalinist Soviet era were closely guarded national secrets, there was no CNN or world wide web or digital camera telephones to spread information at the speed of light like we have today, all information, photography and news were tightly controlled by the central government. Stalin was able to commit these atrocities in almost complete secrecy, although as time went on, Stalin died, the survivors demanded to be heard, by the end of the communist era, while many in the west had already found out by the 1970’s about the purges and pogroms commited under Stalin, many in the former Soviet Union didnt learn of these acts till after the Democratic Republic was re-established.
Dont forget, during WW2, while Jewish groups in the US and England were trying to spread the word about the Holocaust that THEY knew was happening, our own governments kept silent for the most part, it wasnt until the camps were liberated, first by the Soviets, who were never shy to expose nazi atrocities in Russia, and released the shocking film footage of survivors and bodies piled up, that the world first really faced up to what the *** were capable of. When US troops first encountered the camps, many of them too were not ready psychologically for what they found, while many Jewish soldiers DID know what to expect from the Nazies, and would often exchange dogtags with dead christian soldiers if they were about to be captured, so they could avoid being sent directly to the death camps as they
Since we are talking about atracities commited by leaders lets not forget Mao Se Tung of China. During the Culturial revalution in teh 60’s 100 million people died in china due to his poilces that is 5 times more than Hitler and Stalin combined. Yet how is are biggest trading partner China. In WW2 Japan was not excatly kind to POW’s either. Japan’s milatary at that time was led by the Rules of Bushido which means it is a disgrace to be taken prisanor and if you are you are lower than dirt. Japan has a memorial to the minature subs used in the Pearl Harbor attack. They used 5 of them and all five were sunk. Those subs had a crew of 2 yet only 9 are listed on the memorial why one of the submariners was captured. The Battan death march mean anything to you. 70000 US and Fillapinos captured and they were marched for 70 miles with no food or water and for kicks the gaurds used them for bayanet practice if you fell you were shot right then. Japan was a signer of the Geneva Convention and that is roughly how they treated our POWs.
If we are going to discuss Japan as well, dont forget that part of the Bushido Code was the defense of the homeland in which US casualties were estimated to be 100, 000 dead before Japan would have been qwelled. The military leadership in Tokyo was deadfast ready to defend every last thicket and village, the people who had been raised during the last 30 years under a virttually military controlled government were ready and willing to die for the Emporer, kids were being taught how to roll under tanks with explosive packages and detonate themselves, women and old folks were being trained to fight with sharped wood spears. All estimators saw Okinawa ans a bloody preamble to the coming invasion which they estimated would have left 10,000,000 Japanese dead. Fortunatly for American soldiers, including many who had survived all the way to the Riechstag in Berlin and were now going to shipped to the Pacific theater for the coming invasion, the Manhattan Project was completed and Truman, to his credit, didnt hesitate to use it. Hiroshime and Nagasaki were sacrificed so the rest of Japan could live. But even this almost didnt happen, because after the bombs were dropped, the hardest mambers of the government didnt care, and still belived they should fight to the last citizen rather than surrender. The Emporer, having seen first hand what a thousand plane raid could do to Tokyo in one night ( more dead, burned to death, than at Hiroshima or Nagasaki) and what only one plane and one atomic bomb did, must have been haunted by the thought of a thousand planes carrying A-bombs and detroying every living thing in Japan, including himself! He over ruled his military government and ordered his people to “Bear the unbearable” and surrender, unconditionally. The government hardliners, to a man, commited suicide that very night.
People love to debate the wisdom of using the A-bomb. But it did have these effects.
