I am in the process of finishing my benchwork and have two senic dividers. They come from the wall out and make slight curve. How do I secure these to the table top? L brackets, wooden brackers, wood splices/gussetts? - 1/8" 2x4 Masonite is the material. 2" extruded foam will cover the table top. I have the table top down. Not the foam, waiting to ponder this query!
If you have a router, a 1/8" streight bit will allow you to make a groove 1/2" or so deep that should hold your scenic dividers just fine with gentle curves. If you don’t have a router, wood brackets or “L” brackets would be good second choices.
Are you set on using the Masonite? I cut a vertical slot in 2-inch foam and slid a piece of half-inch extruded foam into the slot. If you cut the slot just slightly less thick than the foam, it will be a press fit. I didn’t need brackets or anything else to secure the divider although there were some small hills that I built up to the divider which probably added some strength / support.
For Masonite, and this is only an idea, I’d cut a wide slot in the foam, atttach two 1X2s to the wood deck with a slot between the 1X2s and slide the Masonite into the slot. Cover the 1X2s with more foam or your favorite ground goop - plaster, paint, whatever - and apply ground cover.

NuCat - great idea can you expound a little more? Do you mean cutting the foam, dropping the masonite between the 1x2 slots?
Got it - that worked perfectly…some adjustments to make it on before painting. I am using a large template on butcher paper glued on the foam. I cut a 2" cut into the foam, used foam Liquid Nails and set it in. I beveled the side that meets the existing wall board.
Sorry about the delay - Turkey Day and all that.
Looks like you had success.
