See my layout November 4-5 Raleigh, NC

If all goes as planned I’m slated to display my layout at the 22th Annual Neuse River Valley Model Railroad Club Train Show at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh 4-5 November. For those of you planning to come out for that show, I’m supposed to be set up near the registration desk. I hope to see some of you there!

I would love to be there, but I am stuck in Minnesota this year. I will have to settle for your great pics.

Great! And congratulations! I look forward to meeting you there, we are planning to attend on Saturday, and if all goes as planned the CFO and my trusty assistant will be in attendance as well.

I have been looking forward to this one since I heard about it back in January!

DAVE: What a beautiful job you did!!! Congratulations and good luck at the fair.

Right now im planning on being there.Only about a 5 hour drive from Greenville S. C. ill look forward to seeing you and your beautiful layout. Dave

Any of you forum folks that stop by are more than welcome to run trains on the Middle Division (I may just need a bathroom break anyway!). Looking forward to meeting you; let me know who you are! Thanks!

Packed up the trains and vehicles tonight in preparation for the show. I’m pretty excited; it’s been about 2 years since the last time I displayed a layout at a show, and it’ll be the first show for my current layout. As a World’s Greatest Hobby Ambassador (do I get diplomatic immunity?), it’s the most direct way I know to bring the hobby to people. I also let people test N scale locomotives on my layout that they’re considering buying.

still planning on being there Dave if i can get the time off. amazing how some bosses get upset just because you want to take a day off. cant wait to see your layout. Dave

One last shameless bump, in case any one else will be in Raleigh this weekend. Looking forward to seeing some of the other NC forum members!

One more correction… They set me up in the middle of the main floor instead of by registration. I’m between the N Trak and the American Flyer folks.

Took a peek at your web Dave. Beautiful work!

Is that a super evevated curve in the first photo on your web.

Good luck.

Regards,

Dave,

It was pleasure meeting you at the show on Saturday. Here are a few photos from the show and posted a few of you and your layout.

Cheers,

Ryan

Thanks! I appreciate it. Do you mind if I use them on my website, if I give you proper credit? Thanks!

Absolutely! In fact I have some more that I took but did not post, and if you want them I can give you the links for them too!

Cheers,

Ryan
