Mookie…
Trust me, dont do it…
Having to put your name on the finished product, assembled by other people, is the most frustrating thing you can do, be it a magazine, a business, or a train.
It can also be the most gratifying thing you ever do, but it is a lot more work and stress than most folks ever imagine.
On the other hand, writing about train from the fans point of view sound like a great idea, Quentin’s idea would be right up your alley.
You do let other cats in your alley, once in a while, dont you?
I think I am going to go make a nonsense posting about the neat, railroad releated beach house I found today, while you get the claws,uh, pencils sharpened…
Ed is my mentor and I pretty well listen to what he tells me - so guess I will follow his advice and leave Trains to the real professionals. However…good idea to go get my nails done! Probably can find a dog somewhere that needs a good nailing!
Hey now, you have to be nice to dogs sometimes. Mine doesn’t even think our “Pookie” is a cat - just another resident of the house. You tease her to “go get the cat,” and even if Pookie is standing right next to her, she’ll look around… And not chase Pookie…
Besides, while we were hanging around the fire station last night as the cellar pumping details were winding down, she found a gate I left open at the house (had to pump my own basement, too) and travelled 3 blocks to come find me. This is a dog who isn’t very “street smart”, but she wants to be with “Dad.”
