What type of engines are shown on page 78 of the September MR in the DCC corner??
Can’t say as I don’t have the issue with me (it’s at home) but what I CAN say is I am disappointed that using DecoderPro to speed match was not mentioned. Which I found odd considering they DID use the whole column talking about DecoderPro and JMRI. Joe Fugate has posted some step-by-step instructions on speed matching different locos using DecoderPro, and ther actually is a bit of support in DP for making your own speedometer, you just need to have block detection or sensor input of some sort, and the program can calculate speed for you. Not that the TDP product isn’t nice, I spent a good long time at one of the Timonium shows chatting with one of the owners of TDP about the speedometer and other DCC stuff. It’s definitely on my “I want one” list.

Found them. They are Proto2000 Alco RS-27’s.
