Sergent HO couplers for On30...

Hi Guys

Has anyone tried Sergents HO scale couplers on On3/On30 equipment? I’m thinking they probably look too small, but thought I would check.

I’ve put the Sergent Engineering couplers on several HO scale 40 foot reefers and they are much smaller than a Kadee, so they would probably be way too small for On30.

It is a bit smaller that a 3/4MCB and a bit a larger than a 1/2MCB. The Accumate Proto:HO is the exact size as the 3/4 MCB. The 3/4 Master Car Builders spec couplers were used on some narrow gauge roads.

What about the MTH operating coupler? It’s a little large for HO, but if you could get a standard decoder to talk to it, it would be a nice feature for an ON30 loco.
