Sharing with those who have ,,NOT.

Yes ,I have NOT a dash-9, yet. So Eric O. was kind enough to come over and share his. And beings he does not have a RR to run it on. This works out great for both of us.[;)]

My wife looked on, asking,Did MARTY buy that from you???[:I]

But as the sun sets:::::::::

The answer was,NO.[:(]

Marty,
You would have to show me this. That is hands down my favorite Aristo loco to date. I put on another post that BNSF is also my fav. road for this lunker. THAT IS ONE NICE LOCO. Maybe I will snag one on my trip to the MWLSTS. How on earth could I keep something that big from my wife??? Sigh…Later eh…Brian.

Marty/Brian,

You have got to play them at their own game, along the lines of, “that, i’ve had it years but it doesn’t get used much”!!
Cheers,
Kim

Brian

I actually kept an entire ICE train from my wife before we moved. I kept it inoutside storage, with some of our other furniture and told her about it when we sold our house ie break the news when she has something bigger and better on her mind.

Regards

Ian.

Hey all,
My wife lets me get whatever I want and then asks “How much”. She has this idea that she can then buy something for the same value. Fair is fair. She also has an interest in the trains so she will quickly spot anything new. Also guys…lets not give away all our secrets…our moderator is a lady! We’ll see if Rene reads this thread. Shhhhhhh. Later eh…Brian.

Actually my missus is pretty good about this hobby, back when I was in Mountain Bikes big time it was always " you payed how much for that!" but I think it was more the being gone for the whole day and then coming back all scraped and bruised, “Yeah I crashed, but I had a great ride!”

At least with the trains I’m home more…plus she knows that I scrap for the best bargins and dont buy things that are overtly expensive. So no USA Hudson for me, but I’ll take all your LGB Porters!

My wife just limits my time on E-Bay.Enough said.

Now its funny how this thread changed to wives, not -9s. I wonder someday if Rene gets married, will she have to “sneek” trains in.?

Life is good. Guess what I ,HAVE, ??? My new monster engine.

Very good and DETAILED engine. After a little weathering, she was put to work.

Just like being a “kid” again.

Marty,
Does the fun ever end??? I sure hope not. Later eh…Brian.

Marty,
Superb. I bet you have been buying those hoppers just for that moment in the second photo. Take my hat off to you mate. May the fun never stop.
Cheers,
Kim
