Shasta Central Railroad To Close

Unfourtunatly, after 3 years of exsistence, the Shasta Central Railroad (HO scale), will be sold along with the rolling stock. This has come up because I am putting a lot of time, effort, and money into my G scale railroad, and I am not going to continue construction and operation of the railroad. I figured this is the best decision. Besides, I am selling the layout to one of my local model railroading friends, so I know it will be taken care of and I can see it anytime. I will be selling most of the rolling stock on eBay, and if I have no luck there, I will include them with the layout.

I would like to give a BIG thank you to all the people on the Model Railroader forum who have helped me over the years. I really do appreciate it!

I will still drop by the forum once in a while to see whats going on and say “hi!”

Matt–sorry the railroad is closing down, but I’m happy that it’s going to someone who will appreciate it. As to your G-scale railroad, keep us posted on progress from time to time, okay? And don’t be a stranger!

The good thing about this is that you’re still in the hobby. Post photos as you progress.

BTW: What is your Ebay seller name? I’ll keep an eye out for your items.

Sorry to hear its shutting down, but it sounds like it shall carry on. And, bigger is better, cant argue with that. Best of luck.
