I found a rare HO scale ALP-44 NJ Transit locomotive online (brand new never used) and was wondering if I should buy it even though I already have one. Im a huge NJT fan being that I am originally from NJ but dont know if I really need two of these. I love the locomotive so im looking for opinnion on whether buying it is a waste or not?

If you are modeling the area that those babies run through and you feel that you need to make the layout a little more ‘prototypical’ then—yeah I’d bite. I know someone in my house who collects quilts who’s always going --it’s either here–with me or it ends up in someones house on the wall-----

Yep they are right . Only YOU can answer that question. Is it worth it to you to buy it? Do you want two of them? If the answer is yes, then go for it, if not pass it by.
If the question is really “is it worth the price”. there again only you can answer. If you are willing to pay the price to own it, then go for it. If not pass it by.
That’s a dumb question. ABSOLUTELY get it. Especially if you model it. You might regret NOT buying it. Is this the one you are talking about??
