Here is a construction AREA, but not much actual construction shows. (And it’s been a while since I’ve taken this shot, without much progress here.) There IS some hidden staging track laid back behind the export grain elevator mockup, and the false-front mockup of shipside cargo sheds. The offshore oil rig under construction is safety award trophy from a garage sale, not yet rehabilitated for use as a background model.
Cars sitting on blue foam show where future industry spurs are to be laid, after hidden layover and test loop trackage is laid and trouble-shot.

The second structure I built on my layout was the turntable. Here it is right after I finished building, weathering, wiring & installing it:
