Show Me Something for June 2016..…5th Year Anniversary

Five years ago this month jacon12 created this thread and laid down the ground rules that we basically follow to this day.

I know I speak for everyone thanking him for this thread and wishing Jarrell well.
Jarrell started this thread by asking for something ugly. Here’s my ugly. This loco took an elbow to its midsection, fell to the floor, and lost two fans and some railing

Please show me your ugly or a long freight train

Bob

I would like to thank Jarrell, too. I can hardly believe it’s been five yrs. Here’s a long freight.

More long freights, please.

I too would like to add my thanks to Jarrell; it’s been an enjoyable thread to follow.
The Night Perishable.

More freights please,

[bow] Jarrell [bow] Thanks for five years of the “funnest” thread!

The 3144 leans into the curve with a hotshot well-in-hand…

Show me a freight from the “other” end.

Time does fly by, thanks jacon12 for starting one of the best threads in the forum!

An MEC caboose in the pre-1955 color scheme, modeled using an old Roundhouse truss rod caboose kit. Passing through Greenvale on a part of my layout that was rebuilt a few years ago.

Show me something interesting from the middle of a freight train

Big thanks to Jacon.

This thread is certainly my favorite. I look at it everyday.

Back to George’s request please.

Freshly painted but unlettered pushers from the Blacklog & Tuscarora heading to Port Royal.

How about some more pushers?

Another unlettered “pusher” waiting in the hole at Daves Cabin.

To speed things up, could I please see your favourite model railroad “thing”.
Cheers, the Bear.[:)]

My current favorite thing is about as far from that big articlulated as can be. The HOn30 critter I kitbashed from and Athearn Hustler shell and a Bachmann N scale 44 tonner mechanism

Show me something big or small

It has been almost a day, time for a BUMP…

Hard to believe it has been 5 year now.

Bob, I know that your Atlas Master B&O GP38 took quite a blow, even though Atlas still has replacement parts, that vermillion engineering plastic end rails are non existent. If you are heart broken and need parts or would like a replacement unit NIB or barely run, PM me. I have actually forgot just how many of these I have, I know that I could easily spare one or at least the shell/ railings

Such a great thread, thanks jarrell

Here’s a BIG EM-1 passing a small section house and an even smaller out house.

Show me another shed or shanty by the tracks.

small shed…let’s see a tank car

photo 43.jpg

Here are 4 tank cars

Show me lots of tank cars.

Ken Price

I don’t have lots of tank cars, how about lots of hoppers?

Show me lots of trees, please.

After 1-1/2 days, can’t do lots of trees, but there are a few along the main lineheading to the Southportdrpot on the Boothbay Railway Village layout

Show me some action in the coal fields

Almost three days without a post. “Show Me Something” on the second page. Outrage. So…

G Paine said, “Show me some action in the coal fields.”

Not exactly the coal fields but a short local coal train from the BRVRR.

Show me some passenger train action please.

U.P. Streamliner:

More passenger trains,please.

Mike

In the very early morning hours just east of Buffalo…

The Centuries pass in the night…

More passenger trains, please.

404 is having some issues with some bad coal on a short local.

Let’s see more passenger runs.
