Show me Something: October 2014

Hello Everyone, welcome to the October 2014 edition of the Show me Something thread. I am looking forward to some great photos this month. Here is the link to the September 2014 edition: http://goo.gl/GJkADm

A quick reminder, post photos of whatever the previous request was. In an effort to keep the thread moving, if it has been 24 hours anyone can post a new photo or request.

The last request of November was: show me a switcher

Its been a few hours without a reply to start October 2014 Show Me Something off so here is a Fallen Flag Switcher at work. Unfortunately, it is not steam.

NYC ALCO S-3 is moving a couple of cabeese (cabooses) from the storage track to be prepared for use as business picks up at Apples’ produce stand.

Just ignore the AMTRAK loco in the background, please.

Show me another ‘Fallen Flag’ switcher.

One switcher coming up,

Show me another free lanced railroad loco. Nevermind.

Here’s a switcher from a freelanced road:

Show me a sanding tower

Not a great angle, but some sanding towers:

Show me a favorite steam loco.

K4s No.1361 at Stoney Creek.

Show me a bridge, please.

More water please.

Show me a city scene.

Here is a view of downtown Heartland.

Please show some mountain railroading

Here’s the Broadway Limited climbing towards Horseshe Curve.

Show me a river.

Since we can’t seem to get a river, how about the making of a pond.

Show me something you built in THREE pictures or less OR before and after photos.

Time to keep the show on the road.

I call the first picture “asphalt jungle”

And from the opposite direction.

And the finished, well almost, product.

Show us some more before and after

Bob

EDIT: Mr. Portly is in the bachground on the sidewalk. He sure gets around. I last saw him leaving a beer joint in Pennsylvania.

Grain Elevator still in the box and after it is done.

Before and after is good. Show more!

A more detailed ‘show and tell’ is available on my website at: http://www.brvrr.com/Pennsy%20E8s.html

How about more before and after?

Ignore the more before and after. It took me too long to compose my reply.

peahrens/ Paul wants to see a people scene:

Continuing the “Before & After” theme…

The Big Valley 2000

Same scene, 2014

Coalwood Mine, 2000

And last but not least… a people scene for Paul!

More people, specifically, railroaders at work please…

Happy modeling, Ed
