I have been trying to make tie-downs for some flat car loads. I have chain, cable, rope and an assortment of other things. However I am at a loss as to attaching these to the actual car and having it pass the photo test.
Can you please show me what you do and also provide me with the names of some store bought options.

Fortunately, Rapido supplied (rather fragile) tie downs with their TOFC cars. That saves a bit of a hassle.
