Hi all,

I think I’ve seen this mentioned before but someone said the the show Modern Marvels did an episode on freight trains, and I thought this is what I saw when I looked it up. But the one they showed this past week was strictly on locomotives, though it was good to watch. Are there two different shows or did I just get it confused? Also, the National Geographis channel had an interesting program analyzing the ICE crash a while back. Think it was called science something… It’s interesting if anyone gets a chance to check it out.

Two different shows, the one on locomotives is new. The one on freighters has a long piece on the Cajon Pass. Both good watches. An interesting part of the newer program was the interview with the head honcho of the CSX repair facility @ Waycross GA. He basically stated that his repair shop is always busy, could that be because of weekly derailments? Who Knows?[:P]
