Classic Toy Trains magazine is hosting our first-ever Build a Scene Contest. We’d like for you to show and tell us through words and construction photos how you created a scene for your O or S gauge layout or display.
Toy-rail, hi-rail, or painted plywood – the style of scenery doesn’t matter to us. We want to see all of them represented in a railroad scene measuring between 12 x 12 inches and 4 x 4 feet! Just be sure to follow the defined contest rules – go to “Train Layouts,” and click on “Layout Visits” for the complete details.
If you’re looking for examples of a layout scene, simply look through the numerous O and S gauge layouts displayed in the pages of CTT or explore examples online at ClassicToyTrains.com/layoutgallery. But don’t look for too long – entries are due to CTT on March 31, 2010!
