I would assume, buried in that price, is some of the costs to build the plant in India, maintenance and spares.

How does this compare money-wise to the Amtrak deal for 70 locomotives?
Curious as to why SEPTA…which is all under wire and runs primarily MU sets…is opting for locomotive hauled trains. Any SEPTA fans out there who have an answer?
To Don from NJ. Septa does have several push-pull sets of Bombardier cars that currently use AEM7 style locomotives. This order will replace the AEM7’s.
