Similar Taco Bell building kit for the layout.

Well there is Summit USA I know I know so dont even mention it. That kit is real expensive for a cheap little plastic kit at $69 plus shipping and to top it off you have to allow 2-3 weeks for shipping. Now I am in search of a good type of building to use as an alternative for the Taco Bell. I found one in Walthers that looks very similar and may be my choice to use and I can just get the decals to really make it a Taco bell. I will paint some of it tan too as the Taco Bell has. The good thing about it is that the red roof like the Taco Bell. Here is a link of it. The price is $24 which is much better than $70+

Wish I knew how to post a picture here.

If the picture is on host server, then all you need to do is bracket the URL as follows:

[ img] url [ /img] (without the spaces).

Example: with spaces:

[ img]http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-8/1069636/P10100044.JPG[ /img]

without spaces:

beer joint.

Hey Goldmine - The problem you are having is one I see all too often. The two addresses you have in your first post are html - addresses of web pages. You can’t post an entire web page in your post, you can only link to it - which you did, and that’s fine.

IF you wanted to actually post a pic of the Taco Bell, you need the URL of the actual picture. There are two ways to do this. You can save the pic yourself to a host like Photo-bucket and link the URL from there - OR, even easier … link to the online server where the original picture is located. To do that, right click on the picture and select “Properties”. In the pop-up window, high-light and copy the URL address. Now come back here and place that URL between tags. The picture will now show up being linked to where-ever the picture is being hosted. For the Taco Bell picture to show, you would have to do this …

… which would display this …

Mark.

Doesn’t hit me as a close likeness of Taco Bell but does remind me of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Atlanta so I may have to have the Walthers item.

Don

Jay,

Going to the can takes on a whole new meeting on your layout…
