Single Action Air Brush

Hello:
I have had a double action air brush for quite some time. I want to try a single, I probably should have started with a single in the first place. I just cant get the coordination down with the double action. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good brand/model of single action air brush?

I like the fact that I can tighten/loosen the screw for paint volume…this way I can focus more on the project, and less on how much paint I’m letting through with each pass from the double action brush.

Thanks,

PJ

Paasche H. Well balanced, easy to use and clean, parts always available, three tip sizes. I have a Paasche VL also, and can do almost everything with the H that I can the VL.

Go check these guys out, they have the best prices and great service. Check out Master brand they have some single actions for around $60 I believe

I’ll second Greg on the Paasche Model H. I have had mine for almost 20 years a love it. EZ to clean & great to paint with. Almost no learning curve to use. I have had the Paasche VL for about 10 years but always go for the H. Flea Bay has some deals if you shop around. Should be able to get a good starter set for $50 or less.

I started with a single action Badger , and got a double action , which i had similar problems that you have. What i have wound up doing is painting with both hands, yeah i know it seems weird , but it works for me

Try a site called Hobbylinc.com. I was able to pick up a Badger model 200 that I really enjoy using.

I’ll 3rd the Paasche Model H. I have both an H and VL and the H is easy to use, economical and rugged.

I’ll second the Badger. I have had a model 200 for about ten year, its rugged and economical. As an aside if you have any problems with a Badger there service is unbeatable.
