single track helic- how to turn around

Hi Everyone,

Well when I built my helix i thought why build 2 tracks its only going down to staging, well now i can see why, I am at my mide level main deck starting point I have a helix with 2 switches in it allowing tarins to exit the helix, I see now way of actually turning the train around to go back down without a reverse ooop somewhere, all my plans have gooten way to complex, i think the only solution s to uise a hidden reverse loop under the main deck to allow the trains to turn around. if i buld the reverse loop into the main deck i think i will have all kinds of polarity issues with trains running all over. I have included a simple pic of the way the helix comes out on the main deck.

on the diagram its a single rail helix with 2 switches on back end, there is also a loop track going around the back of the helix that will go around the main deck. not sure if anyone has any idea, but i dont see any way to not use a reverse loop

If you want to turn a train around and have it go back over a track in the opposite direction you need a reverse loop somewhere. End of story.

You can also use a wye somewhere, but then you need to do backup movements to turn the train.
