Sir Mudchicken, Please

Muddy - scrooch your chair a little closer…gotta question for you!

Saw a caboose going into the yards - if memory serves me right - UNL Survey Team - with a UP logo on it. Is this from the Engineering College and do you know anything about it?

I could call Engineering and ask them, but would rather you would sit really close and explain it to me…[C=:-)] (Like the new chapeau?)

Guess I gotta get a red flag to get his attention!

(1) Not around a computer for the past few days. Have a good idea whose car that is and sent an e-mail to the right person to confirm it is part of UPRR’s special GIS effort called “DO-MAPS”. (UP is way out in front of everybody else on this one! and their GPS units in Hi-Rail Suburbans are everywhere else where this old cab/waycar is not…the old caboose is hardly used anymore except as a test bed and was part of the “intelligent highway” program that UNL was involved in for Nebraska DOT/Roads…they lease out their GIS capability to other railroads and consultants)

(2)Red flag huh ? - Bull Chicken?

Horned Rooster?

[:D]

When did mudchicken become a knight? “Sir Muchicken”: hmmm, has he
made a trip to England, and been knighted by the queen? Verrrrry interesting!

CW - got his attention, didn’t I? Sometimes you just gotta use a little, ahem, flattery…

MC - Thank you! I just knew you would know…

I think I had in mind more “bull feathers”…

It could be worse. The old hometown has an obsession with flying porkers![:I][:I][:I]http://borgman.enquirer.com/weekly/daily_html/2000/10/101500borgman.html

Jim Borgman and a partner do the cartoon strip “Zits”. It is the life and times of Jeremy, a 16 year old high schooler, and his friends a parents. I sometimes clip them and post them on Matt’s board in his room. He is not usually amused.

Obviously, he has some genius ideas for the use of this years crop of pigs.

Jim Borgman is also editorial cartoonist for the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Cincinnati, once known as Porkopolis, for the packing houses there, has a thing about “Flying Pigs” and also use the pig theme on various things, had sculptured pigs all over town a couple of years ago.
