Site outage?

I couldn’t access the forums for a few hours, what gives? Upgrades to the faster hardware I hope?

It was interesting to say the least…

Wonder what happened to make the system go poof…[^o)]

It seems that some one on the cleaning crew unplugged the system when they plugged in their vacuum cleaner.

Greetings,

The community system crashed earlier today with a hard system failure earlier today - I believe at 11:35am CST.

Our alerting mechanism did not catch this failure to notify anyone on the support side of things.

Sorry about that… this issue will be reviewed during our normal business hours next week.

Thanks.

That sounds about right. I timed it at just a bit under 12 hours.

OMG!

I had withdrawal symptums! My entire world was falling down around me! WHAT - No MRR threads! Help!! (shall I go on?)

Hey - instead of armchairing it, I actually got some modelling work done!

I think its called an addiction[;)]

Best wishes to everyone.

Dave

Too much time on your hands, Jeffrey…[(-D]

Tom

Yeah, thanks you guys. I actually spent time with my wife; lunch, movie.

Was it something I said? [(-D]

To err is human; to REALLY screw it up requires a computer!

I didn’t know it was down. I was watching the Nationwide Nascar race and chugging beers so I wasn’t on the Internet in the afternoon.

Not at all Tom. I simply noted the time the site went down and the time it came back up. I have several members on my own forum who also come here. One of them PM’d me the time the site came back up.

The interesting thing to me is that going through the some of the other Kalmbach forums, no one else seems to have noticed that they were down. Or if they noticed they didn’t comment. Perhaps they didn’t care?

So now we know where all the OCD types post! [swg]

Was out here until just a few minutes ago [:'(]

The site was down??? Somebody must have leaned on the “kill switch”.

I found only the COMMUNITY section down. All other parts of the site seemed to be functioning normally.

Glad it’s back.
