Slogans

Hey y’all! I’ve been trying to think of catchy and very clear slogans for my regional, Indy Rail. I want just one that will describe how dependable, quick, and satisfying Indy Rail’s service is. I originally thought: “Indyana’s Railroad” but that sounds too much like the real regional Indiana Railroad and it just kind of looks like something found on a Children’s toy. I would appreciate any creative person’s help. Thanks a bunch.

Ride Like The Windy… On The Indy!

I-Try, 24/7-365. From the Iowa Tri-State (which has a route plan really close to the CGW).

I love it! [:D]

Is Nothin’ Dat Ya can’t do, when ya do it wit’ INDY! (If it was a little farther south, or if it’s closer to “th’ hood”… Or if you run it via the “family”. [swg])

We Satisfy With Dependable and Quick Transportation.

My Summerset Ry slogan is “We Fill Your Switching Needs”.

Racing to be number 1

NYCT : " Watch the closing doors, please."

“Steel City to The Crossroads of America” ?

Selected nicknames for Gary and Indianapolis.

Those are all actually very catchy. The Windy, Indy one especially caught my eye. I thought about going with the steel city one but my railroad doesn’t go to Gary it actually goes to the Quad Cities.

I assumed they would connect with the Chicago part of the IAIS, making Gary a mild reach. Tried to make it work with a Quad Cities nickname, but couldn’t find one. Taking an actual city name the best I could do was.

“Rock to The Crossroads of America”

It does sound railroady.

Sortof… (Or an Oldies station/channel)

“Hoosier Mama”

or

“The Crossroads Line”

Dave Nelson

Indy Rail-- Serves The Midwest Best What does everybody think of that? I like slogans that say Route Of The, but I can’t think of any nicknames for grain, ballast.

Run a passenger train called “The Racer” The slogan “Route of the Racers”

“Speedway to the Heartland”

The Last Mountain & Eastern slogan is "our Customer Service is like making love to a Gorilla. We are not finished when we are Satisfied, only when the Gorilla is Satisfied.

It must work as we have had no complaints.

Johnboy out…

You mean like “Grain Belt”?

Route of the Grain Belt

I would think “Bread” would be a good way to work in grain.

Serving the Nation’s Breadbasket

Route of Your Daily Bread

Preempt the current restaurant trend - Farm to Table

Got any dairy farms out there? - Bread and Butter Route

Indianapolis to the Quad Cities? How about:

“Look kids, cornfields!”

“All the corn that’s fit to haul”

“The breadbasket’s quickest route”

“Look kids, soybeans!”

“The East-West Gateway to Service”

(used to live out that way…)

Perhaps a more modern version:

Hoosier Baby Mama [(-D]

“IndyRail…Service from the Heart…land.”

On the Eastern Southwest North Dakota Central Railroad…

“Serving the Middle of Nowhere!”
