Slow Motion made up for a bad week......

I’m still unemployed, I’m still poor…but I layed down some track and turnouts on my EMPIRE so I could have some fun. Set up the inter-change between the branchline and main line. (two sets of #6’s to join them). Kind of like a mini time saver.
Cleaned up a couple of Athearn loco’s( SW-9 and GP-38) and had some fun tonight.
Got both the locos to go 15’ in 1.5 minutes consistantly[:D][:D][:D]. Pretty good low speed performance. Now if I only had a bunch of cash, I could have a bunch more fun…[^][^][^]

Very few of us, me included, have the ca***o build it all at once. I liken it to a Johnny Cash song, “I built it once piece at a time”. Luckily for us, stuff from different years is compatible and fits together, unlike Cadillacs!

Enjoy that you got to run em.

I have to say the best locomotives I get are not the one’s I pay a lot for
