I usually get information here or off the German site but news has been really slow. The German site seems to not be as good as it once was. I have heard that Walthers will be releasing new F units in the Proto 2000 line not the 1000. Something with sound.

With the demise of Rivarossi/Lima and their sale to Hornby, who immediately announced that manufacturing would be moved to China, and the sale of Roco to another company, there’s probably not much new coming out of Europe any more for people to talk about…
The German site had the news first before here in the states. Sometimes you can go months without anything then bam. I like to be able to plan out in advance some of the things I will be purchasing. It may be strange but dropping $250 for a set of E8’s takes me some time. I limit my budget and with the show season here it takes planning.
