“complete a bike path…”
Considering that the NWP hasn’t had a double track right of way since the Golden Gate Bridge and never had any I can recall (geogr) north of San Rafael,… (that’s rah–fell),…well, some siding and main track locations, now a bike path laid down on some awesomely expensive real estate separated by a fence, probably. appropriate Charley Brown quote inserted here.
(Charles Schulz, Snoopy, Linus, they lived on the SMART line in Santa Rosa, good grief…
Do ya’ wonder what the cost would be if it were rail only?
I did run on the NWP…not long…

And the cost of auto fuel has dropped to about $1 per gallon? And the real cost of private auto usage has dropped considerably in the last few years? NOPE.

Gas was $1.43, in MT, the day JWB left office. $3.01 today.

Small wonder, Mr. Hays.

The cost figures seem, to me, to be ‘Apples-and-Oranges’. Being a former Petaluma resident, maybe Fertilized Eggs (un-salable) versus non-, until the Yuppies started buying eggs with developing embryos. Yuck! (Local joke).

I wonder if the bicycle idiots would rather not have the tracks beside their "precious’ bike trail. They seem to have declared war of rail lines.
