Wait. Watch the weather channel, or weather web site of your choice. You’ll know when the rotaries will be called out. Two feet of snow won’t lead to their being called out, unless winds build up say, 10-15’ drifts!
Rotaries are called out only as an absolute last resort. They are quite expensive compared to other snowfighting methods. Once they get called out, the cut they leave behind is quite narrow compared to other methods which makes it more likely for drifting snow to fill in the cut rather rapidly, leading to more frequent use of the rotaries.
They have to be over at Denver, as Donnor doesn’t have enough snow to cover the little rocks alongside the track! It’s been a really dry year out here so far.
