Well HO boxcars anyway. I was just going to change the oil in the old John Deere and cut the grass. I opened the garage door to this.

Think you could send some of that down here to the California Sierra? Our fabled ski season has been a real BUMMER this year!
Tom
It’s in the mail Tom.
We use to go down and ski at Tahoe. Loved it. We would ski all day, come back to the hotel and sit out in the snow, in the hot tub and then go gamble all night. Now just thinking about it makes me tired.[(-D]

Want some of this, Tom? 18" so far today:

Wow! You guys in the midwest are getting hammered right now. The strange thing was there were tornados too. Snow and Tornados, very strange weather indeed.
All we got here was dull and dribbly…and a cold damp wind from the east…
Just clouds, drizzle (Haven’t seen it yet!) and warm temps here. You’re welcome to come share it.
We are counting the hours (or maybe minutes) for the second big snowstorn to arrive in midcoast Maine. 10" to 14" of the white stuff in the forecast. The first one was last Haloween! - the only time so far this winter we have had our driveway plowed. The rest was just light snow, not plowable or just rain and sleet.

Here in the KC area, we’re on track to shatter the record for the least snow in a winter season. The old record was 4.5" in 1922-23. So far this year, we’ve had a total of 2.7". Could be because we bought a really hairy snow thrower last fall. It hasn’t fired up yet. Cheap at twice the price! [:)]
I have only had to use the loader to plow the driveway once this winter, then it was only to get the ridge the town plows pushed into the drive, not really bad even then. We missed the one the other day, 3 feet just north of us. 2 inches here. Sounds like the one coming tonight may change that.
May have to stay in the house and play trains tomorrow. Only problem is the next project I have is cutting with a jig saw. Wife working tonight, sleeping tomorrow. Could cut tonight or do some train running and other quieter projects tomorrow.
Hasn’t started yet, but I think I’m ready.
Have fun,
Richard

You must have sent it while I was writing–right now we’ve got about 3’ at Tahoe with more on the way. Thank you, kind sir [bow] I’m going to snow-tire the Audi and head up there this weekend.
I can ALWAYS count on my Canadian friends, by golly! [;)]

Wow! Nice photo of some big flakes. The large white snow flakes contrast nicely with the green trees and not-dead grass.
Here in the Ozarks we are having early spring weather including the expected tornados. Looks like a stormy spring is in store. More storms tonight.
