So I just bought some of those MR binders

So I just bought some of those blue binders that Kaumbach sells to put my collection of MR’s in.

Anyone know how to work these things? Seem like you have to bend the metal rods to get them into the slots.

Yes, that’s how mine work. Open the magazine to the center, stick the rod in one end, and flex it slightly to fit into the other end. Then close the magazine over the rod and do the next one.

I buy the fold up magazine boxes from IKEA. Very cheap. I even usd the unfolded box as a pattern and made my own from boxes begged from an appliance store. Yes,I’m cheap. BILL

if you were really cheap you would go the post office and get a bunch of the flat rate boxes. they give them away for free.

I keep mine in plastic magazine holders I pick up at Walmart. A label goes on the spine with the ,magazine name and year. One year fits in each carrier, although back in the 80’s when the paper was thicker and each issues was around 200 pages, it’s a tough squeeze. They do have double width ones as well. More recent years, two years can fit int he standard width ones - which I might start doign as I am running out of shelf space.
