Terminal…I think what Eric was trying to get across is that discussing current world political events, as opposed to current railroad politics, should be conducted via email or on another forum.
As long as the discussion here is about Amtrak, and Amtrak politics, fine, but when someone starts out with the statement, “all you democrats” or “all you republicans” then it has strayed away from a railroad related discussion and into a political and ideological argument.
The thread this is posted in is a fine example of why some threads should be locked…we have kids, and ladies here…would you show that sign to your Mom?

I am not a liberal I am a staunch conservative and I think the hlf a trillion spent by bush could have gone to pay off someof teh debt of this country. If our goverment keeps spending cash like we are we all better learn to speak Chinease since they hold 60% of all the bonds issued to pay the debt.
