It would appear to be parts for wind turbines for electricity
Those appear to be the bases for wind turbines. The tarps say Suzlon who is a wind turbine manufacturer.
Mystery solved… [;)]
That was fast, thank you very much.
I don’t see how anyone going down the road when that train was around could fail to be impressed.
Yes. People tend to be blown away from wind turbines . . .
Oh-oh, BC - another subscriber to “pun-ny nation”…
You are saying nominating Gabe as a resident PUN-DIT??[%-)][swg][swg][swg]
I had one of those trains going down to Sommers Ill and when the van driver in Clinton Iowa saw he asked us what they were my engineer told him they wew rockets
Those pics will probably wind up on a tinfoil head website with some conspiracist claiming they’re New World Order “Doomsday Machines” (or Weather Control Devices, Brainwashing transmitters, ect…)
Careful, Gabe - it’s a pun-ishing job…

Like the lengthy video placed on YouTube a while back in which someone spent several minutes shooting video of a single head signal while talking about how it was a satellite receiver used to guide the FEMA trains to the FEMA concentration camps…
These come east on the Sunset Route from time to time. They are a wide load, so they pretty much tie things up along the way until they are yarded in Tucson. I do not know the final destination, but I have seen pictures of them in central Illinois.

Could be headed to west Texas. There’s a ton of wind farms out there.
Wind farm? They grow wind in Texas? I wish they would harvest it before it gets hurricane strength.

Ever driven I-10 from Fort Stockton to El Paso? Winds in west Texas come real close to 70 mph (and likely exceed it occasionally). This is the area where the wind farms are (Davis Pass IIRC).
I’m not sure if they’re still running these or if perhaps the project is done, but KCS was running unit trains which included the blades for wind turbines. I believe that they came off ships in the Gulf (Houston or Port Aurthur area) and then rode KCS to Kansas City. They were off-loaded at the former Richards - Gabauer AFB in Belton/ Grandview MO, which is now the KCS IFC Intermodal facility for the KC area. The blades were staged on the tarmack of the AFB pending delivery to the field installation location.
