Some More New Photos of DV&W

Well, since I did a bunch of detail work recently and have the layout 99.9% complete, I thought I would take a ton of photos. Especially since the layout will likely be scrapped in the not too distant future.[:(]

I was planning on demolition this spring, but the time involved for saving $$ for the Kato Unitrack is taking longer than anticipated. So the current DV&W will survive a bit longer. (Which is OK, I am busy revising the track plan anyhow.)

If anyone is interested, the photos I added are in the 2 Deere Valley & Western Railroad albums at my Webshots site. Just click on the link in my signature.

“but the time involved for saving $$ for the Kato Unitrack is taking longer than anticipated.” Two words for you, ok three. Toy Train Heaven. The lowest prices on Kato Unitrack very legit and fast shipper. Dave

Nice photo–like your website, too. Too bad it has to be demolished, I sincerely hope you can save a lot of it. My dad was into N scale, after he died, I inherited his stuff and I set it up around the Christmas tree every year. I got some of the Kato Unitrack, and it’s really SUPER stuff–just about trouble free. I was almost tempted to get the HO scale Kato when I started building the Yuba River Sub, but unfortunately, they don’t offer wide enough radii for my big steamers. But I think you’ll be very pleased on the operating characteristics when you start using the Kato on your new line. Best of luck–and I REALLY like your work!
