No prototype on this one, it’s built with scrap prints, dedicated to fallen railroad Wayne Tullar 1945-2013

Very cool stuff, Mark! I’d be interested in more details: what material you printed with, what machine or service, power units used, etc. This is an amazing body of work.

A long overdue “WOW!”
A long overdue “WOW!”
Mixturre of ABS and PLA plastic, printied on a Makebot X2, X2 clone, power blocks are either 3d printed dummies or aristocraft powered units, all the engines are printed with a frame that accepts bot aristo and USA trains motor blocks
4 new engines joining the roster soon, C425, RS-27, T6 and the HH600
All are Print built

several more ALCo’s in various stages of design and just started a Jordan Spreader drawing, which I hope to have running this winter
I must agree with Vance, this is an amazing work. I would be interested in more information. Do you print pieces and then assemble, or do you print the shells in one piece? What kind of power units do you use?
Most execellent work.

Thanks for the links. Awesme.
Awsome work!! I would love a HH660, it could handle my tight curves on my railway. Wonder if a pair of Alco Blunt side frames could be printed to make the trucks look correct once completed. I hope we see this type of engine offered for sale in the very near future. Replacing my R1 curves will never happen due to space constraints. A small Alco HH660 painted in Cat yellow for one of the old Relco leasing units, weathered up nicely would be of high interest to me. Again, excellent work! Mike
C425 ready to join the roster

Had to change the pictures, tried using pintrest links to see if they stick longer then the facebook pictures
