HO shelf layout 50"s era. not finished yet. I find scratch building very relaxing and not hard to do. Its also cheap. and theres alot of satisfaction when done. I don’t use plans. Just start building out of my head. Seems to work for me. I am going for the old worn look! Enjoy.

What you build is not my cup-o-tea but who are we to fault or belittle it. You build it how you see it and want it, in a frugal manner and you derive great pleasure from it, that is ALL that really matters.
More power to you. Were others sit and arm-chair their time away, you build to your content.
