Some very nice modeling Proto87 style

Perhaps others have already posted this recent YouTube video of a Proto87 display layout in Australia. The realism is extremely impressive – not just the track and trains but also the scenery, structures and backdrop. And fortunately Australian trains have the kind of heft and bulk that make them look railroady to American eyes.

Notice that these models show little or none of the giveaway “wobble” that you often see even on the best layouts, such as those in the Keller videos:

Actually I prefer mine to wobble…at least a little…I’m on a wobbly branchline after all…[(-D]

That is really cool video of a really good looking set up though…[tup]

Nice modeling.

I really don’t like my cars to wobble so I adjust the truck screws.

Bowen Creek is truly a stellar P87 module. I’m a P87 modeler (American prototype), and I frequently visit the Bowen Creek blog for inspiration. There aren’t that many Proto87 layouts out there, and most of them are European or Australian. Iain Rice’s shelf layout for MR being a notable exception, and a fine one as well.
