I have seen a lot of photo chops…that was a great video chop.[:)]

Gasp - Gasp - Must stop laughing…

That is one of those, “Don’t give them any ideas” pieces.

Dang! They got that thing up and in place faster than the UP got the new bridge up in Galt, IL!

I can’t wait for the AMTRAK version of this! Pretty sweet!

Now THAT was funny!!!

I MIGHT try to think of an explanation, if I could stop laughing!!

[(-D]

that would be a neat way to get to Cedar point.

stay safe

I think we may be too old to see the humor in it…[;)]

Well, it may also help to be part Norsk. Alfred Hitchcock used this story telling principle quite effectively in his movies - the unexpected result. You expect a train wreck but get a “roller-coaster” ride instead.

And, yes, even for a gray-headed old type, I laughed, too. To be that young again! More correctly, to have that much energy again, able to bottle it for later use!!!

The film is a commercial for Hydro which tries to recrute young people to sience education. The slogan is “There are many young engineers out there. We can’t wait to see them grow up.”

More information (and the whole film in better quality) here: http://www.hydro.com/en/press_room/news/archive/2007_06/tv_films_en.html

That was awesome!!!

Thanks---- I clicked on, it went to E-bay and locked me out permanently until I re booted the whole sysytem.

As I’m writing this, this thread is sitting directly above the one entitled “Dual Mainlines”.

Although this loop doesn’t do much for forward motion, it might help Amtrak get rid of excessive dining-car expenses (nobody wants to eat anyway…). Perhaps a couple of corkscrews in the congested areas might be helpful.

well clearly this video depicts what Norwegian trains do rather than sit still for an hour at daylight savings time. They loop the loop. Amtrak should take a lesson.

And we thought TPing houses was a great prank…
