This list is far from complete, dozens of mayors died on railroad accidents in the early days too.
if you look at the list, most were pre-1900, some were killed on the train, others on the tracks (railroad safety wasn’t as well known back then), and i bet some who were killed on the trakcs were probably giving a speech at the station when struck.

Cut the Bush Crap…I like him but the fricken point to every thread isn’t political as such, this is a simple point of thought that was posted, an ironic one at that. That was a very interesting website, a little surprizing that one hasn’t been killed (or documented or whatever) since 1960.
That’s due to the decreasing amount of road travel they do now, most politican’s either fly to where they have to be or if on the campain trail, us Busses, which are required to stop at every crossing.
I thi nk everyone who bashes our governement and is not old enough to vote or is old enough and didn’t vote should be put on a train and run off a bridge that is not there. stop the dumb political bashing it’s not needed here, there’s forums just for that and MRR ones are not it.
