re: photo of the day 2/7/2018, “West Virginia survivor”. At first glance, the locomotive appears to be operating as a 2-6-0. I cannot see the second axel or driving wheels. I am sure they are there but hidden by a heavy shadow.
It’s there, but obscured by the shadow of the valve gear.
