Somewhere in the San Joaquin Valley in Ca .....

The GP9 powered local spots the beet racks for loading as a reefer train rolls by on the main.

[#welcome][#welcome]to the forum. WOW!! What a debut. Excellent video. Did you scratchbuild the beet loader?
Tom

Thanks Tom. This is just a little temp layout for testing purposes. The kit is made by MTEC of Sacramento, Ca. The beet loader is supposed to represent the Holly Sugar operation in Ca.

Plus I have a new Dig Camcorder to play with!

Ted,

That was a fantastic video indeed! What a great piece of animation to add. By the way, who is MTEK? I ran a search and couldn’t find them. I’m really intrigued by what you’ve done, especially since I am modeling the same area of the country. Thanks for sharing.

Mike

Thanks Mike, here’s the MTEC site:

I don’t know much about them, just happened to see there set up at the big Model RR show in Long Beach earlier this year.

I plan on redoing the beet loader as the conveyor should be parallel with the tracks, but I wanted to at least test it out.

I like sound units as they add so much to the scene.

Way COOL!!!

It brought a smile [:D] to my face.

Thanks for sharing. . .

Hey, that’s pretty sharp!
