Several months ago, NewsWire reported that the Soo Line 1003 (2-8-2) was headed to the Wisconsin & Southern’s Horicon shops for paint. I’ve heard nothing since, and the 1003’s website is also silent. Has anybody heard anything lately? Any chance for a steam-up or more this fall?
