Did SOO Line own any SD35s? If so what were their numbers and what paint scheme did they wear. Thanks![:)]
I can’t find any. They did have 10 GP35s and 2 SD39s (MN&S) and the former MILW SDL39s.
No SD35s. Had they bought any, they would have been delivered in the same paint scheme as the GP30s, GP35s, and GP40s.
No SD35s and in addition to the locos listed by nanaimo73 a slug of SD40 and SD40-2 units and finally SD60s with both standard and wide nose cabs.
Nope, they did though, in the late 80’s and early nineties lease many ex NW now EMDX high hood SD35’s. Yea, they had two MN&S SD39’s , 40 and 41. SOO didnt buy much GP40 though, only about 5 or 6 i think. Then when the MILW merger came, they got a crap load.
