i just started using the NCE power cab and have installed a Tsunami 2 decoder. I’ve not that the sound stays the same no matter how fast the loco is going . The only notable sound change is from 1 to 2 speed step. Is there a cv setting for this?
Yes, there is. Sounds like maybe manual notching got turned on. The cv is 114. I THINK you set it to 39 for automatic notching. Read the cv on the programming track first though. If that doesn’t work, or makes it worse, try a factory reset of the decoder.

Yes it did work but it seem I have to do it several times
All my sounds change as speed increasd but that was with new installs.
When I did resets, after CV8, enter 8, I would cycle track power. I would see the loco lights flash sixteen times for a good reset.
If I did not cycle track power I usually did not get a reset.
