heyy everybody i am looking too buy a sound system for my dc layout. do you recommend anything? ive been searching on sites and i cant really find anything. any help will be greatly appreciated.

MRC makes a stand alone limited steam/diesel sound version with a speaker or two.
I have an older version called the 9000 power/sound/light that works for me. Not high tech but functional.
Soundtraxx Tsunami will be able to be used on DC layouts.
There is the old PFM unit, now upgraded and made by another company for big $$$.
QSI (Used by BLI, LL P2K, Atlas,…), Soundtraxx and Digitrax (used by Kato) all have some models that function on DC will some amount of functionality.
