Rider confidence?? I wonder if Mr. Bullock has ever tried traveling in Seattle. Next visit I suggest he try taking a bus between the Capitol Hill and let’s say, Wallingford or Greenwood districts between 7 to 9 PM [bring a sleeping bag]. Or talk to some people who commute by auto from the city to jobs in the suburbs, and query them on how they schedule and route their trips. They’ll probably tell him that its not bad if you leave home at 5 AM or increase your trip length by 25% to avoid congestion. No, metro Seattle is not worse than Los Angeles or New York City, but it’s also an area with a population comparable to Minneapolis - St. Paul.
